Today I have for you the nail polish set to end all nail polish sets: The Twenty-Two Sephora Formula X kit. In case you haven’t heard, Sephora released their own nail polish brand and kicked OPI to the curb and it. is.awesome. I was never a fan of the Sephora for OPI polishes – they always seemed like watered down versions of regular OPI but this new formula is a thing of beauty. The lasting power is great, they have a crazy amount of new finishes, top coats, base coats, special effect top coats you name it. Also Nerd Alert: Most of the names are scientific or space themed….get it? Formula X? 🙂

This set contains 22 .16 fl oz bottles of polish in various effects. Just under half of the polishes included are one of Sephora’s new finishes which I’ve listed out below. I think that’s a great assortment from what they have to offer but I wish they would have included a glittery top coat in this set as well. Nevertheless, fill size Formula X polishes run from $10.50 to $12.50 each depending on the effect and this entire set is $55. I really love these minis because they have shade names on the bottom! I hated that about the Sephora for OPI collection; I never knew what shade the minis were after I got them out of the packaging.

How nice is it that the square top that’s not conducive to painting your nails pops off to reveal a more ergonomically designed one?! This is true of the full size bottles as well. I know when they did a few test runs in various cities earlier this year that was one of bloggers’ biggest complaints and they fixed it. Nice to know someone is listening to us out there :).
