On a daily basis, do you favor bright colors or neutrals?
Neutrals all the way. I’m obsessed with them. I can’t get enough. To me there’s nothing more classic than a pretty neutral eye. For the most part during the week I’m at my 9-5 professional job so I can’t pop up to work with sparkly purple eye shadow (often 😉 ) so I guess necessity has bred my love of neutrals since I spend most of my time at work. On the weekends I’ll experiment with color on my eyes and bring out the bolder lip colors. Check out reviews of some of my favorite neutrals below. I wear all of the following at least once a week and for me that’s pretty often since I have lots of makeup and I’m forever trying new things.
As for my nails I used to keep my fingers in pinks and reds all the time. This year I’ve been all over the spectrum of colors from navy, to sparkly mickey glitters, to hot oranges and I’m converted. I usually post all my nails of the day on my Instagram so make sure you give me a follow over there so you don’t miss anything!

You know, I have the Lorac Pro Palette, but have yet to crack it open! I so have to do something about that! 🙂
Your Mickey polish is still one of my favorites! Hmmm…..wonder if you have an extra for our next lunch??? Lol, I am thrilled by your experimenting with polish though 🙂
The LORAC palette is so lovely!! Love how you linked to review posts for examples…what a great idea!!
I agree completely on the neutrals. But every once in a while, I like to add a bright eyeliner or lipstick for shock value. 🙂
I hear so much about the Mally line, but still haven’t tried it. Looks like I need to!
