Last week I got my first Conscious Box. I first learned about this box through AprilAthena7’s YouTube channel (love) and I thought I would give it a try. I love the premise behind the company (discover the best of the planet) and the green principles they promote; just look at the packaging:!

They offer a bunch of different boxes if you have nut allergies or are gluten free. The contents of the box however left a little something to be desired. There was no insert letting you know what all was included this month so I had to do some digging around on the website to find out.

- NurturMe Dried Baby Food in Plump Peas flavor…..I for one will not be trying this. Maybe I will try this on my nieces if I can pass it off..
- Totlogic Gentle, Natural & Light Body Lotion I haven’t tried this yet but I imagine it will make a cool little purse lotion addition even if this is for toddlers.
- Earth Friendly Products Natural & Non-Toxic Cleaners – Parsley Plus Surface Cleaner – this product smells exactly like parsley which is strangely refreshing! I typically use the Clorox Green Works all-purpose cleaner on my counter tops but I did try this last week and it did a nice job for the most part.
- Healthforce Nutritionals Vitamineral Green I admit I have no idea what this is for. It’s a powder in a small jar and I guess you’re supposed to take a teaspoon of the powder. It would have been nice to have an insert to explain what it’s intended use is.
- Lafes Moisturizing Lip Balm: this came in a small tin with very simple ingredients and it is so moisturizing. This is the most used product for me out of this box.
- 100% Natural Antioxidant Max Celestial Tea – Blueberry Pomegranate I got two teabags of this tea and I tried one at work yesterday. The tea has a great aroma and it’s about average as far as fruity teas go. I like the fact that it has caffeine for that extra boost in the morning and I may be purchasing a full size box of these teas.
- Seventh Generation Mandarin Refreshing Facial Cleansing Cloths I’m probably the most excited about this product because I just recently got into facial cloths. This one is hypoallergenic and alcohol free which is awesome for my sensitive skin.
- Organic Food Bar Chocolate Covered Active Greens This tastes pretty much how I envision grass covered in chocolate tastes. Not my cup of tea but I know it’s super healthy!
- Coromega Omega-3 + D Squeeze
- Nuline Nutritionals QSpeed Supplement I am very picky about what pills I take so I will not be using this product or the one below.
- EarthRise Nutritionals Spirulina Natural Supplement see above
- MRM 100% All Natural Whey this was given to my boyfriend since he works out a ton. I’ll post his comments when he gets back to me.
- GoGo Squeez All-Natural Healthy Snacks – my nieces eat these applesauces religiously. I’ll save this one for the next time they come over.
Final Thoughts
Overall I really like the company and the founders seem like awesome people but for my lifestyle this box is not the one for me. If you like this type of stuff and you want to try it out you should! They are offering 10% off of subscriptions with the coupon code in the picture below until April 22.

What are some of you favorite and least favorite subscription services?
Your nieces do not like the NurturMe stuff. Neither does their mom. Do not give it to us, keep it for when you have a kid, hahahahaha.
The green powder you mix into drinks like the spirulina – it’s a supplement.
Darn. I thought I could get rid of it hahaha. The spirulina was a pill I believe and as for the powder I’m not into that stuff at all!
