MAC is back at it again with a limited edition collection inspired by steamy and sultry summer nights. The collection includes bronzers, eye shadow quads, blushes, lipsticks, lipglasses and more.
The only thing I picked up early from the collection was the Bare My Soul Quad. This palette contains four shades that remind me of wearing flirty summer dresses at night in the city with your love or your best friends. This quad contains earthy colors that look great with minimal makeup which I personally like to wear in the hotter months. Nothing worse than a whole face of makeup melting off in the hot sun.

As you can see this is not the typical sleek black packaging. The items in this collection all have a rubberized bronzy brown casing. In fact it’s really pretty….but MAC charges a premium for special packaging – this quad by itself was $44.

The colors in this collection apply smoothly and are quite pigmented.

Even though this quad is on the more expensive side I really like the pigmentation and the color selection for a quad. If you think about it in terms of pricing…..MAC pan eye shadows are $12 so four of them would cost you $48. The single eye shadows with the compact are $15 so four of them are $60. All about perspective here people!
