It’s time to finally start reviewing the makeup I got for Christmas! Better late than never right? First up is the Mally Beauty 5-piece Liquid Lipstick Collection from QVC. I really love and admire Mally Roncal who is the founder of Mally Beauty and I’m usually a big fan of her products but this one left me wanting more.

First of – the good! The holiday packaging was so stinking cute I couldn’t stand it. Snakeskin with silver studs? Yes Please!

Inside you’ll find 5 minis of her popular Liquid Lipsticks. The full size versions which I do own are click pens with brush applicators; this set has a standard lipgloss brush. The brush on these minis was tiny for someone with quite full lips and in some of them was quite stiff (not sure if this has anything to do with the travel I did with these) so it was a little difficult to get even application.

Swatched on my arm the shades look great! They are not sticky and smell like candy and the smell does linger a bit after application. For the pigmented shades wear time was right around 3 hours with noticeable fading. Swatched on my lips however, only Orchid, Blossom, and Berrylish showed any noticeable pigmentation.

Not really sure why these are called “liquid lipsticks” as they perform the same to me as a lip gloss. In either I enjoy them! What do you think?
