Too Faced is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands for eye palettes. I loved the Pretty Rebel Palette and the A Few of My Favorite things palette so naturally I needed to pick up the Chocolate Bar Palette. Of course…anything food themed, especially chocolate, and I’m game!

This is the centerpiece of the Too Faced Spring 2014 collection and it contains 16 eyeshadows in various chocolate and candy hues all named after your favorite sweet treats..and the best part? The shadows are formulated with Cocoa Powder and they all smell like delicious chocolate! Don’t worry if that concerns you though; they only smell chocolatey while in the pan.

One thing I disliked about this palette is that the shade names are not printed directly on the package but rather are listed on a plastic covering that I’m no doubt bound to lose. What’s with palettes doing that lately? Especially the ones with the cool shadow names :(.

Nevertheless this palette contains neutrals which are the main players in my go to look for work during the week. There’s a shade of brown and gold for everyone in here with a couple of pops of color that complement the brown tones beautifully. Some standouts for me are Black Forest Truffle, Amaretto, and Candied Violet. You know I love a good purple shadow!

I think this is a perfect gift for Valentine’s Day especially with the chocolate theme. Wouldn’t it be cute to get this palette and some real chocolates (nothing can replace real chocolate of course!). What do you think of this shadow collection?
