Down here in the Southern USA it gets unbearable HOT in the summer. I mean AC can’t help you and a breeze won’t save you from the humidity. So when iFabbo and Perlier sent me their new Lemon Sorbet Refreshing Ice Granita I was all for it! Bring it on! This is one of their new products in their Sorbet line that includes shower creams, body creams, and lip balms.

The can states that this is a “Refreshing Crackling Ice Body Water” and that “It is sparkling and crispy like a fruit sorbet. it moisturizes and refreshes in one step…” What’s not to love about that?

I’ll have to admit I didn’t quite get what this was when I first got it (not food!) so I sprayed it right away and yelped! It feels like cooling pop rocks on your skin and instantly cools you down. When you go to rub it in it pops and crackles and leaves an amazing lemony-mint fresh scent behind. Here’s my first Instagram video demonstrating the product (don’t mind my radio on in the background!).

How cool is that?! It leaves your skin lightly moisturized similar to what a light body oil would give you but it leaves no oily residue behind. It does cool your skin down even when you store the bottle at room temperature….but put it in the fridge and the effect is magnified. This would be perfect for a camping trip (if your cabin has no AC especially) or as a great cool down from outdoor activities like the park or the beach.
