| Milani Coming Up Roses Powder Blushes |
Blush is by far one of my favorite face products. A nice wash of color on the cheeks can just wake your face right up and who doesn’t need some waking up in the morning?! My favorite blushes from the drugstore are the Milani Baked Blushes which I mentioned in my April favorites in this post so when they announced they would be doing these giant etched rose blushes I KNEW I had to have them. Luckily I found them at my first stop at a random Walgreens. There are four different shades in this collection and I have a review of two of them for you today: Flora Passion and Romantic Rose.

For a frame of reference in size of these blushes the regular Baked Blushes by Milani are .12 oz and these are .60 oz. The packaging is typical gold and clear signature of the brand. I love how the rose pattern is etched into the blush which is good and bad; it’s so pretty but at the same time I actually want to use this blush so I hate to mess up the pattern. Conundrum. These are so so soft when applying with your fingers and the powder is very finely milled which makes them utterly blendable. Flora Passion is a true matte medium rosy pink color (rejoice oily skin girls like me!) so this will not accentuate any oiliness on your face or your pores.

Romantic Rose is more of a dusky pink color in pan. This color is typically a little darker than I would choose for blush but I’m being adventurous lately so I picked this one up. I think it would be pretty to use for a natural flush in the fall especially.

These both are lovely shades of blush but I would say they pull pretty close to each other when blended out. The above picture is with no flash and the below is with flash. So if I had to pick one to get for darker skin…..I would say go with Romantic Rose as it is a little warmer than Flora Passion pulls on my skin. Or you could get all of them and hoard. I wouldn’t blame you as these are selling quickly!
