You guys. You need this. I never thought I’d love something as much as my grab on the go Lip Butters but these are taking up a special place in my heart. I don’t think I saw anywhere that these were limited edition (and if they are Revlon should SERIOUSLY reconsider) so don’t fret too much if your display is wiped out by the time you get there. The display is in two sections a matte side and a lacquer side and they both include seasonally appropriate dark berries as well a fun coral shades so there’s something for everyone.

The matte shades aren’t drying like you would expect and wear for 3-4 hours without fading. The lacquer shade gives a nice non-greasy looking sheen and the one I have – Whimsical – has silver glitters in it. Not usually my style but I didn’t open the tubes in the store because that’s unsanitary. However it is pretty so I don’t mind that in the least. These are your typical twisty crayon lip products and they have a very slight minty smell to them.

| Maybelline Colorsensational Elixirs – Dashing Orchid & Celestial Coral |
You’ve probably all seen the YSL Glossy Stains and the L’oreal Colour Riche Caresse Wet Shine Stains (what a mouthful); well here’s Maybelline’s take on the same theme. They all seem to have the same triangular applicator shape and same general premise. They are shorter than your typical lip gloss and come in 20 different shades. These are additions to the permanent line.

I picked up Celestial Coral and Dashing Orchid so far so good. These are extremely glossy but they are not sticky or tacky and have medium pigmentation on the lips; they look pretty pigmented when swatched.

These two are limited edition so get your hands on them while you can! These are new matte color tattoos which is a nice departure from the rest of the collection. Matte Brown and Just beige would make great base colors for most skin tones; there’s also a pink shade that was sold out by the time I got to my store.

If only the Matte Brown was a bit warmer….maybe a medium brown next time? But they still blend beautifully and help your shadows stay all day. Y’all know how much I love me some color tattoos!
