Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Natural Beauty

One of my favorite products has to be blush. It can take a one dimensional face to new heights with just a sweep of color! A few weeks ago when Tarte was having their Friends and Family sale I picked up one of their 12 hour Amazonian clay blushes to see what all the fuss was about. A powder blush that lasts 12 hours? I’ll be the judge of that.

 I picked up the shade Natural Beauty because duh…who doesn’t want that? I admit when I got it I was a little taken aback at the color; this is much redder and brighter than I usually tend to go with blushes. But what’s makeup for if it’s not for experimentation?

I really like the little embossed tree on the powder it gives it more of an amazon feel that they were going for. The packaging is adorable and I like that the outer shell is the same color as the blush so if you have multiple you always know what shade you’re picking up by the outer casing.

 This shade is absolutely gorgeous on my skintone. The powder is ultra silky and a little goes a LONG way as far as pigmentation goes. The above photos were both done on one swipe of the finger; the left picture is the blush blended out.
